Install and use Blender Copilot

Install the ZIP in Blender 5.2. The add-on provides conversation and scene tools inside Blender; this website does not handle accounts, model requests, or payments.

This is the Blender Copilot 1.0.0 add-on ZIP, not the separate Copilot Exp. Blender Extension package. Avoid enabling multiple versions that could be confused with each other.

1. Install and enable

  1. In Blender 5.2, open Edit → Preferences → Add-ons.
  2. Choose Install from Disk… from the upper-right menu and select the downloaded ZIP.
  3. Enable Blender Copilot in the Add-ons list. After updating the add-on, fully exit and restart Blender.
  4. In a 3D View, press N to open the sidebar and select the Blender Copilot tab.

2. Start your first conversation

  1. Sign in inside the add-on. If you do not receive the email verification code, use Resend code. Enter the code in Blender, not on this website.
  2. Choose a model and an appropriate Trust level. Start with read-only or constrained operations while learning how the tools work.
  3. Leave Approve on Manual, describe your goal, objects, dimensions, and constraints, then select Send.
  4. If a Python approval dialog appears, read the purpose and full code before approving. When unsure, reject the action and save a copy of your project.

3. References, Points, and safety

Use Attach file/picture in the add-on to include an image, and set its role and view. Images and scene data may be sent to the selected model provider. Do not attach information you do not want to share.

The add-on and its Gateway are authoritative for available models, Points prices, wallet balance, and confirmed payments. Downloading the add-on here does not sign you in or submit a model request. The Gateway rejects new requests when the available balance is insufficient.

Trust L2/L3 can run Blender Python. Auto approval is not a sandbox, and external file or network side effects may not be reversible with Blender Undo.

Need help?

If networking or model loading fails, check the service address and connectivity in the add-on, then refresh or sign in again. Include the version and steps to reproduce when reporting a problem; do not send passwords, tokens, or private scene contents.
